Challenge: A complex brand story that was not well defined
Environmental Systems Products (ESP), the largest and longest-operating vehicle emissions testing organization in North America, needed to enhance and differentiate the emissions testing and vehicle maintenance services it provides to city and state vehicle inspection programs.
Solution: Refine the brand story to make it easy, intuitive and appealing
The Pita Group helped ESP re-think and develop a cohesive brand for its system and a way to help current and prospective customers easily understand how its process works. This brand and identity system needed to convey integration of many services — training/certification, reporting, query, administration, audits and quality assurance — into an easy-to-use information portal.
Result: A new brand that helped win new business
The effort resulted in a new brand identity, IntelliTrak – Emissions Intelligence for Today & Tomorrow, a clear schematic of the company’s process and products, and narratives that helped ESP refine its story within bid documents that won the company’s renewal of an important contract with the State of Maryland. ESP also used the new branding system in proposals that garnered contracts in Memphis, Tenn., for the state of Colorado and in Austin, Texas.
