The Pita Group has been recognized in the 16th Annual Videographer Awards for video production work completed for three Connecticut clients. Pita received an Award of Excellence, Award of Distinction and honorable mention.
Hartford Public Library’s “A Place Like No Other” video received the Award of Excellence for being written, produced, shot and edited in an exceptional manner.
Union Savings Bank’s television spot, a commercial bank campaign testimonial by Fairfield Processing in Connecticut, received the Award of Distinction, which is given to projects that exceed industry standards.
Honorable mention went to the “Girls Today” television ad Pita created to help raise awareness of Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s 100th anniversary.
“These videos are great examples of how having production, design and strategy teams working together, under one roof, brings creative work to another level,” said Paul Pita, CEO and executive creative director of The Pita Group. “We are honored to be recognized internationally among such impressive industry peers.”
The three videos were among 1,600 pieces of work entered into the 2012 Videographer Awards competition. Submissions ranged from video productions to TV commercials and programs to news broadcasts and digital media.
Among the winners were Cisco, Con Edison, ING Retirement Marketing, MERCK, Miami University, Ruder Finn, Thomson Reuters, UnitedHealthcare and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online.
