(Rocky Hill, Conn. – June 27, 2012) –The Pita Group has added Mari Cipriano to its team as marketing manager. Mari will play an important role in strategy and new business development of marketing strategies, as well as manage several key accounts.
Mari began her career at the global advertising agency DDB in New York City as an account manager, directing, coordinating and managing multi-platform campaigns, projects and activities for clients. Mari later served as business development manager, and was charged with identifying and securing new clients.
After returning to Connecticut, she led marketing efforts at United Way of Greater New Haven, overseeing the redesign of marketing materials for the campaign toolkit. She then moved on to the Economic Development Corporation of New Haven, where she led the marketing RFI/RFP project. This project engaged marketing consultants in comprehensive tasks to improve EDC and City of New Haven branding and positioning.
Mari graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication sciences and journalism.
