To build a committed community around your brand, it’s critical to first understand what your brand means to your customers. Understanding both the emotional and the rational motivators behind their choices, and reinforcing those choices at all customer touch-points, is key.

Provide outlets for your customers to not only connect with your brand, but also to each other. Give them a voice – and show them that you listen. Make them feel like they are brand insiders, and they will in turn become your brand ambassadors.
